With the loss of weekly
Legends racing at the now shuddered Orange Show Speedway and
the uncertainty about TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale's 2012
plans, the SRL Legends Tour is likely in for a banner season.
The tour has been dominated by drivers with SRL ties, as Cale
Kanke and Austin Reed have been the only two consistent
championship contenders in the series.
The 2012 SRL
Legends Tour schedule also lets the "cat out of the bag" so to
speak about their parent SRL Southwest Tour with October 13th
at All American Speedway despite the Southwest Tour leaving
that date as a TBA at this time.

The Legends of the Pacific
schedule is much of the same as they have run for many years,
with the lone exception being a sharp increase in dates at
Stockton. Similar to the Pro-4 Modifieds and USAC NorCal
Ford Focus Midgets, Stockton 99 Speedway will host the
division eight times to become the home track for typically a
touring series.
